On November 20, Iliauni Theatre will perform the play “The Ideal Family” at Women’s Penitentiary No. 5.
We gladly accepted the proposal of Neli Badalashvili, Chairperson of the Innovative Creative Center, and selected a comedy that would lighten the lives of the incarcerated women for at least two hours.
The play, based on a piece by Václav Havel, was first staged at Iliauni Theatre in 2019. The director of the production is Davit Chakhraqia, and the lead role is performed by the beloved actress Ruska Makhashvili.
