Comedy in 2 Acts

The plot of “the Instinct” is simple and at the same time quite confusing… à la French. Young Louis lives with his father. He does not remember his mother, he was brought up by Mathilde, his mother’s best friend. A visit of a strange guest and a cascade of shocking revelations turns Louis’ life upside down. Truth and lies, simple and complicated mix up. And the outcome, in the best traditions of the French boulevard comedy, is impossible to foresee or believe, just like snowfall in May.

According to the play “The Error, or the Masculine, Singular” (“La Berlue, ou le masculin singulier”) by Jean-Jacques Bricaire and Maurice Lasaygues
