On 25 December 2018 Iliauni Theatre played a premiere of an enchanting Christmas tale “The Snow Queen”. The play according to a very famous tale by Hans Christian Andersen was staged for the first time at our Theatre for children and their parents alike. The show was on for 15 days during Christmas and New Year’s holidays and all of the performances were sold out in advance.
Director Kakhaber Shartava worked together with professional actors as well as Ilia State University students. Very popular actors were especially invited for this show – Tatuli Edisherashvili played a witch and Mariam Roinishvili enacted the title role itself.
