On June 28 Iliauni Theatre closed its 9th Season with the Performance “Marat/Sade”.
During the season the Theatre performed five new peerformances:
On 19 October 2018 senior project “Translations” of Ilia State University Theatre Art Programme student was shown to the audience. The show was nominated to the 2018 Tsinandali Award.
On November 23 another senior project “Games at the Backyard” staged by the graduate of the same Programme was enacted.
On December 25 marked the premiere of the magical Christmas fairy tale “the Snow Queen”. During the Christmas and New Year holidays the theatre performed it 15 times and each performance was sold out in advance.
On 30 March 2019 the forth premiere of the season – “The Ideal Family” according to Vaclav Havel’s play was performed.
And 14 May premiere was William Shakespeare’s “The Midsummer Nigh’s Dream” which was staged with professional actors and students of the Ilia State University Theatre Arts Programme.
